Our Steam Weekend went off without a hitch and we welcomed a large number of visitors to our site. The next event will be a gathering of the Whissendine Wheels classic vehicle club on the 11th July from 4pm when our trains will be running too.

Our Railway site is located at the Whissendine Sports club on the outskirts of Melton Mowbray. There is a 1150 foot long circuit of ground level 5" and 7 1/4" track and a 300 foot long raised track catering for 5", 3 1/2" and smaller gauges
A good number of our members have in interest in road vehicles including traction engines and lorries. Most of the year they can be found at steam rallies around the region but come together for our own Steam Rally in June
Its not all about things that move! We also have a wide range of interests from workshop machinery and tooling to Stationary steam and internal combustion engines. We cater for all interests in our diverse hobby!
